Last night was my intelligent and attractive friend Laura's birthday celebration. Two of my other intelligent and attractive friends Kirsty and Jim came through from Newcastle for the event and we went to the Cathouse in the traditional fashion (intelligently/attractively). Good times had by all, I think. No drama, no sitting down and slurring about how drunk we were. Just excessive smoking, drinking and dancing. which is what I expect and demand of a night out. I've been on a bit of nostalgic trip with my drink of choice lately - the timeless vodka and orange - and it's been working out smashingly with the day-after's hangover. That is to say there's been no hangover to speak off. I was obviously onto a winner when I was 15-years-old. I do wonder about the excessive vitamin C consumption, though.
Speaking of vitamins, Glaswegians should be aware of the amazing gig happening on Thursday 9th October. Line-up includes The Twilight Sad, Sons & Daughters, people from Teenage Fanclub and people from Idlewild; £3 in, at the ABC. All in the name of mental health (under the title of 'Vitamin A', which I'm assuming is good for the brainmeats). It's going to be a total indie fap-fest and at a bargain price, too. DAE IT.
Oh, so I work at the Ministry of Justice these days. Just thought I'd let you know.
